What is the RSVP deadline, and how do I respond?

Question 2

Are children allowed at the wedding?

We love your little ones, but our celebration is an adults-only affair! We're so grateful for your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you.

Question 3

Will parking be available at the wedding venue?

Accepted Answer

For the Saturday there will be limited spaces at the venue for parking (to prioritise our vendors) - so if you plan to drive please contact Shaun or Magali to confirm.

For the Sunday, there will be much more availability , just let us know :)

Question 4

Will transportation be provided across the weekend?

Accepted Answer

For the Saturday (Wedding day), we will provide transport at the end of the evening to the main areas of the peninsula most people are staying (e.g. Kingsand, Cawsand, Millbrook, Freathy).

For getting to and from the venue at other points, please find some trusted taxi companies below.
We'd recommend booking in advance due to it being a quite remote part of the country!

If you have any problems, do let us know! Driving across the peninsula only takes about 5 minutes so we will try and help where we can.

Will vegetarian or special dietary meals be available at the wedding?

Yes! When you RSVP please specify any dietary requirements you need us to plan for.

What is the dress code?

Accepted Answer

Friday - Very relaxed Cornish pub vibe, come as fancy or as chill as you like!

Saturday - Coastal Chic, but do be warned the weather in Cornwall is temperamental so we'd recommend something to keep you warm!

Sunday - Your best hangover get up - and some swimmers if you're feeling brave enough for the sea or sauna

Is the venue accessible?

The Fort offers a wheelchair-accessible entrance and toilet to accommodate visitors. However, many areas of the site feature steep paths and stairs which may limit access for some individuals. Please contact us if you have any concerns.

Will we have time to explore the area?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We hope you are able to explore the surrounding areas during the weekend. 
There will be time Saturday and Sunday morning for you to get to see the magic of Cornwall.

Question 9

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Accepted Answer

We plan to make the most of the gardens at the Fort and have our ceremony outside - however Cornish weather is unpredictable! Please do bring layers to ensure you stay comfortable over the course of the weekend.
